Turkish municipalities implement regional road and asphalt infrastructure projects

Various municipalities across Turkey are conducting extensive road infrastructure, maintenance, and asphalt works to improve transportation safety and comfort.

In Ordu, the Metropolitan Municipality completed hot asphalt works on a 10.3-kilometer route connecting the Altınordu and Perşembe districts. The project included infrastructure renewal and widening certain sections from 4 meters to 8 meters to facilitate easier two-way traffic.

In Akçaabat, Mayor Osman Nuri Ekim is overseeing road construction and concrete paving in the Maden neighborhood to ensure long-lasting infrastructure. Similarly, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality invested approximately 3 million lira in asphalt works for a 3-kilometer stretch between the Manay and Osmankalfalar neighborhoods in Korkuteli, supporting local agricultural activities.

Other regional updates include Manisa Metropolitan Municipality performing hot asphalt and drainage works on 5103 Sokak in the Mesir neighborhood to reduce accidents, and Mamak Municipality carrying out asphalt paving and patching across the Durali Alıç, Boğaziçi, Mehtap, and Mutlu neighborhoods.
