Turkish municipalities conduct urban landscaping and pruning

Municipalities in the Didim and Kuşadası regions of Turkey are conducting various landscaping and maintenance operations to improve urban aesthetics and public safety.

In Didim, the municipality is performing grass cutting and pruning across green spaces and roadsides. Mayor Hatice Gençay stated that teams are working throughout the city to manage seasonal vegetation growth and maintain the order of public areas.

In Kuşadası, the Parks and Gardens Directorate has carried out a comprehensive pruning operation on palm trees located in the central medians of the ring road. The initiative aims to remove dried or diseased branches to prevent them from falling during bad weather, thereby enhancing traffic safety and the city's visual identity ahead of the summer season. Deputy Mayor Tahsin Demirtaş emphasized that the protection of green spaces remains a priority for the municipality.
