Turkish municipalities host community events for World Peace Day

Various municipalities in Turkey organized community events to observe World Peace Day on September 1.

In Seferihisar, the municipality hosted a clinical pilates session at the İztur-Sertur Blue Flag Beach. Led by instructor Sema Yelbuğa, participants of all ages engaged in exercises in the sea, utilizing the natural resistance and buoyancy of the water for physical and mental well-being.

In Turgutlu, the municipality collaborated with Almila Turgutlu to host festivities for children and families. The celebration began with a balloon parade starting from the Turgutlu Municipality building and continued at the 15 Temmuz Demokrasi Şehitleri Area. The program included inflatable obstacle courses, competitions, clowns, and face painting. Turgutlu Mayor Çetin Akın attended the event, expressing wishes for lasting peace, friendship, and brotherhood.
