Turkish municipalities implement road and infrastructure improvements
Municipalities in Turkey are conducting extensive infrastructure and road improvement projects. In Narlıdere, İzmir, Mayor Erman Uzun has overseen the completion of asphalt paving on Seyran and Yahya Kemal streets. To date, the municipality has paved 25,000 square meters using approximately 3,500 tons of asphalt, with a year-end goal of reaching 40,000 square meters and exceeding 5,000 tons of asphalt.
In Doğubayazıt, Co-Mayors Kenan Alkan and Aygül Aşan announced the completion of asphalt and sidewalk renovations on Ağrı Street in the Uluyol neighborhood. The project included ground improvements, hot asphalt paving, and the installation of modern, wide sidewalks designed to improve accessibility for pedestrians and individuals with disabilities.
