Turkish municipalities increase hygiene with regular container and street cleaning

In the district of İlkadım, Samsun, the municipal cleaning department has stepped up container washing, using a dedicated high‑pressure vehicle and disinfectant to clean both interior and exterior surfaces, aiming to prevent bad odors, bacteria and pests. Mayor Ihsan Kurnaz said the program supports a cleaner, healthier, more livable environment.

In Beypazarı, Ankara, the municipality continues uninterrupted environmental cleaning in the Ayvaşık Mahallesi Oğuzkent area, with crews sweeping streets and alleys as part of a district‑wide program. Mayor Özer Kasap highlighted the goal of a clean, orderly and livable town for residents.
