Turkish municipalities launch summer cleaning drives in Efeler and Bakırköy

The Efeler Municipality in Aydın province intensified sanitation of wedding halls and open ceremony sites during the summer months. Cleaning crews swept and washed venues across the neighbourhoods of Eğrikavak, Alanlı, Konuklu and Baltaköy, aiming to provide more hygienic and comfortable settings for citizens' celebrations. Residents praised the effort, thanking Mayor Anıl Yetişkin and the municipal staff.

In Istanbul's Bakırköy district, a similar summer‑season cleanup was carried out under the direction of Mayor Doç. Dr. Ayşegül Ovalıoğlu. Teams equipped with sweepers, washing machines, dampers, leaf blowers and disinfection units worked in Şenlikköy and other neighborhoods, targeting parks, sidewalks, school surroundings, places of worship and container sites. The mayor inspected the work on site and met with locals to gather feedback.
