Antalya Municipal Football Academy Launches Free Summer School for Children
The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality’s Football Academy has opened its summer school program, offering free football training to children born between 2014 and 2019. Applications are submitted online; children on the main list attend the sessions, while those on the reserve list are called up if spots become available. The academy runs both a mixed‑gender program and a dedicated girls’ group, which has attracted strong interest. Academy coach Emrah İnal said the school operates year‑round, with the summer term beginning as schools close for holidays, and noted plans to expand groups if demand rises.
The initiative aims to introduce children to basic football skills, teamwork and sports discipline while providing an accessible outlet for physical activity during the vacation period.
