Turkish municipalities launch tourism projects in Nilüfer and Göreme

Bursa’s Nilüfer district mayor Şadi Özdemir outlined a series of tourism initiatives for the Gölyazı, Fadıllı, Akçalar and Ayvaköy areas, aiming to turn them into attractions for both domestic and foreign visitors. He highlighted the Ayvaini Cave, which can be explored by boat, and a planned “Digital Village” to host digital nomads, emphasizing longer stays for tourists.

In Nevşehir, NTSO presidential candidate Yüksel Babaoğlu visited Göreme deputy mayor Süleyman Yücefaydalı to discuss Kapadokya’s tourism potential and local economic development. The meeting stressed stronger cooperation between the business community and municipal authorities to boost the region’s share of tourism revenue.
