Turkish municipalities train staff in safety and first aid

Kayseri Büyükşehir Belediyesi organized basic occupational health and safety training for 763 municipal employees over two months. Coordinated by Kaymek, the program covered workers' rights, accident prevention, risk assessment and protective measures, and was delivered by safety expert Resul Aflaz.

Keçiören Belediyesi in Ankara held a two‑day first‑aid course for its personnel, jointly run by the municipal human‑resources department and the Ankara Provincial Health Directorate. Instructors Şeyma Ilgaz and Elif Ünsal taught theoretical concepts and practical scenarios covering airway obstruction, bleeding, poisoning, fractures, burns and other emergencies, after which participants received certification.
