TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan begins at Gölcük Shipyard

TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan has commenced at the Gölcük Shipyard Command in Kocaeli, running from August 20 to August 23, 2026. Organized by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense and the T3 Foundation, the event showcases Turkey's maritime, underwater, and defense industry capabilities.

The festival features 37 different naval elements and platforms, including the flagship TCG Anadolu, TCG Savarona, and various submarines. Visitors can also view unmanned sea vehicles such as ULAQ, SANCAR, MARLIN, and SALVO, alongside the MİLDEN National Submarine test block.

In addition to maritime displays, the event includes aerial demonstrations featuring Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB3, and Bayraktar AKINCI UAVs, as well as various helicopters. The program includes technology competitions for unmanned underwater systems and sea vehicles, special operations demonstrations by SAT and SAS commandos, and traditional maritime competitions like tug-of-war.
