Turkish organizations announce university scholarship programs
Various organizations in Turkey have announced scholarship programs for university students for the 2026-2027 academic year.
ÇAYDER (Trabzon and Çaykaralılar Association), based in Istanbul, has opened applications for students from Çaykara and Dernekpazar. Applications began on September 1, 2026, and will conclude on September 25, 2026. Eligible candidates must be Turkish citizens enrolled in formal education programs and demonstrate financial need. For continuing students, a minimum GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale is required.
Additionally, the Çorum Türk Ocağı is launching a scholarship program specifically for successful students in need at Hitit University. The program offers monthly payments of 5,000 TL for nine months, from October to June. Applications will be accepted digitally between September 5 and September 25, 2026. Requirements include being a student in a four-year formal education program, with academic thresholds set at a minimum GPA of 2.75 or a score of 70/100.
