Turkish police seize methamphetamine and cocaine in separate drug busts
In the Turkish city of Samsun, police from the Narcotics Crime Division arrested two suspects in Atakum after a raid on their residence and vehicle. Officers seized 831 g of methamphetamine ready for market, 75 synthetic pills, a precision scale, a pump-action shotgun and other related items. The detainees were transferred to judicial authorities for further investigation.
A second operation in the Muğla province, targeting drug sales in Bodrum and Marmaris, resulted in the discovery of 273 g of cocaine, 13 g of cannabis, 1,483 synthetic pills, a unlicensed pistol, ammunition and roughly 13,000 TL in cash.
