Turkish police sweep arrests dozens in Bursa and Antalya

Authorities in Bursa conducted a two‑day security operation involving multiple police units, questioning over 5,500 people, seizing a small amount of narcotics, and imposing traffic fines exceeding 1 million TL. The operation resulted in the arrest of 30 suspects and the shutdown of illegal businesses.

In Antalya, law‑enforcement units carried out a week‑long crackdown, interrogating more than 195,000 individuals, detaining 1,953 people of whom 230 were taken into custody. The raids uncovered stolen and seized vehicles, 51 firearms, 360 ammunition cartridges, six knives, and several gambling‑related offenses, alongside numerous administrative fines.
