Turkish political leaders criticize officials over controversial social‑media videos

Doğru Parti chairman Rifat Serdaroğlu sharply rebuked Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi after a video showing a group dancing with the slogan “Apo‑ye sözümüz var” circulated on social media. Serdaroğlu called Çiftçi the “Jerusalem Governor” and referenced the minister’s earlier statement wishing for a governorship of Jerusalem, denouncing what he saw as tolerance for PKK sympathisers.

In a separate incident, AK Party media chief Faruk Acar replied to public criticism of a Turkish Football Federation post that shared a song supporting the national team alongside footage of TOGG cars, drones, and President Erdoğan. Acar asked critics what specifically upset them, defending the clip as a patriotic display and rejecting claims of political bias.
