Turkish political parties negotiate new election alliances

Political parties in Turkey are exploring new alliance models to navigate the Presidential Government System and upcoming elections. In Ankara, discussions are intensifying regarding several potential coalitions.

One reported movement involves the Yeniden Refah Partisi, DEVA Partisi, and Saadet Partisi, with talks aiming for completion by October. Another potential grouping involves the İYİ Parti, Zafer Partisi, and the newly formed Anahtar Parti, as these groups seek to secure parliamentary representation and overcome electoral thresholds.

Additionally, a meeting is scheduled for August 22 in Ankara involving leaders from the Zafer Partisi, Adalet Partisi, Bağımsız Türkiye Partisi (BTP), Milli Yol Partisi, and Kutlu Parti. These leaders have indicated a desire to act collectively in response to the current political landscape, focusing on shared republican and secular values.
