Turkish Red Crescent and SOS Çocukköyü launch Eid al‑Adha donation drives

The Turkish Red Crescent’s Manisa branch announced a 2026 proxy‑sacrifice (kurban) campaign, offering donation packages of 17,250 TL for domestic and Gaza/Palestine recipients and 6,350 TL for overseas beneficiaries. Contributions can be paid in two to four installments, and the meat will be processed, preserved and distributed throughout the year to needy families in Turkey, Gaza/Palestine and roughly 30 other countries across Africa, Asia, the Balkans and the Middle East.

Separately, SOS Çocukköyü Association launched the “Senden Öğrendik” campaign for the same holiday, urging supporters to donate 450 TL via SMS (sending “SOS” to 4120) or through a range of bank accounts. The funds aim to support children in care homes and their families, covering immediate needs as well as education and long‑term development, and highlight the collective spirit of solidarity during the festival.
