Turkish Red Crescent enables Qurbani donations to Gaza and 30 nations

The Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) announced that Qurbani (kurban) donations for 2026 can be paid in two to four installments. The domestic and Gaza/Palestine price is set at 17,250 Turkish lira, while the fee for donors outside Turkey and Gaza is 6,350 lira, with foreign‑currency equivalents also provided.

Donors can contribute through the Kızılay website, mobile donation app, bank transfers via the FAST system, dedicated phone lines, or by visiting any local branch. The organization follows a six‑stage transparent model: receipt of the proxy, donor notification, halal‑compliant slaughter under veterinary and religious supervision, meat processing into long‑lasting canned portions, distribution to needy households in Turkey and abroad, and post‑slaughter reporting.

Kızılay aims to deliver the Qurbani meat to millions of beneficiaries in Turkey, Gaza/Palestine and a total of 30 countries, using fresh meat for some destinations and canned products for others.
