Turkish Red Crescent hosts first aid training in Ankara

In observance of World First Aid Day, an event themed ‘First Aid and Migration’ was held in Ankara. The program, organized through a collaboration between the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), brought together international students and healthcare professionals.

Participants received basic first aid training and practical life support demonstrations. The initiative aimed to increase awareness among international students studying in Turkey regarding the importance of immediate intervention during emergencies.

Şükrü Can, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkish Red Crescent, emphasized the importance of building a strong society through informed individuals. He also noted the launch of 11 new short films as part of the organization's ongoing efforts to promote first aid awareness.
