Turkish Red Crescent volunteers receive first‑aid training in Erzincan

The Erzincan Provincial Health Directorate organized a comprehensive first‑aid and emergency‑response course for Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) personnel on 5 June 2026. The program covered basic lifesaving techniques, patient assessment, scene safety, basic life support and hemorrhage control, combining theoretical instruction with hands‑on practice. Trainers emphasized the importance of rapid, accurate intervention during disasters and crises to minimize loss of life. Participants completed the training and were awarded certificates, aiming to improve the Red Crescent’s field effectiveness in emergency situations across the region.
