Turkish schools host blood donation campaigns

Schools in the Denizli and Düzce provinces of Turkey have organized successful blood donation drives in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent.

In Denizli’s Çivril district, students at İsmail Özcan Primary School led an initiative that mobilized parents and community members, resulting in approximately 100 units of blood collected in a single day. School Principal Mehmet Saraç noted that the campaign aimed to foster social responsibility among students.

In Düzce, the Uzun Mustafa Primary School hosted a similar campaign under a local protocol. The event saw significant participation from parents, teachers, and local officials, including Düzce Governor Mehmet Makas. Organizers emphasized the importance of maintaining community awareness and voluntary donation habits to support blood stocks.
