Turkish security agencies announce new specialist and student recruitments

The Turkish Gendarmerie General Command is recruiting five contracted IT specialists to work in Ankara. The positions include roles for a senior artificial intelligence expert, software development experts, a mobile software development expert, and an image systems expert. Applications are being accepted via e-Devlet until September 24, 2026.

Separately, the Police Academy Presidency is seeking five students to train for Police Sergeant positions within the Internal Security Faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year. The recruitment is specifically for citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) who are single and between the ages of 18 and 22.

The five student slots are divided by academic criteria: three positions (two male, one female) are based on AYT scores, one male position on A-Level results, and one male position on SAT scores. Applications must be submitted in person to the Police General Directorate between September 21 and September 25, 2026.
