Turkish Singer Güllü’s Death Probe Gets New Video Evidence

Renowned Arabesque singer Güllü died after falling from a window at her home in Çınarcık, Yalova in September 2025. The Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office is preparing an indictment and has intensified the investigation, which now includes forensic reports showing multiple fractures, internal bleeding, a blood‑alcohol level of 3.53 ‰ and no drugs.

A video recorded shortly before her death has been released on social media, showing Güllü in a bright mood celebrating a birthday. The footage is being examined for relevance to the case. Her daughter, Tuğyan Gülter, was arrested in December 2025 on suspicion of “intentional homicide” after messages allegedly requesting a hitman and a statement in which she expressed remorse. She was also caught attempting to flee the country with an accomplice.

Witnesses have provided statements that shift the inquiry from an accident to possible foul play, and prosecutors expect to file the indictment within the coming days.
