Turkish tourism stakeholders participate in ATF 2026 Antalya

At the ATF 2026 Antalya Tourism Fair, industry leaders and regional representatives gathered to discuss the future of Turkish tourism. Davut Günaydın, Vice President of TÜRSAB, emphasized the need for a new roadmap for the sector, focusing on increasing tourism revenue rather than just visitor numbers.

Günaydın noted that despite geopolitical tensions in surrounding regions and challenges in markets such as Russia, Iraq, and Iran, Turkey maintains a strong position in global tourism. He highlighted the critical role of travel agencies and tour operators, noting that approximately 80% of tourists visiting Antalya arrive through these organized distribution channels.

Additionally, the Nevşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NTSO), alongside KAP-HİB, participated in the fair to promote the tourism potential of Cappadocia. The delegation aims to increase the region's international visibility and establish new collaborations to support the sustainable development of Cappadocia's tourism sector.
