Edirne Science Festival Opens June 6‑7 at Hasan Ali Yücel Children’s Museum

The Edirne Municipality is hosting the Edirne Science Festival on 6‑7 June at the Hasan Ali Yücel Children’s Museum, Turkey’s largest open‑air interactive children’s museum. The two‑day event will showcase innovative projects prepared by students ranging from middle‑school to university level, offering visitors a chance to examine the work and learn about the creation process.

A programme of free workshops includes chess, tangram, a planetary‑show, music performances and several hands‑on sessions such as agriculture, natural‑dye techniques, perfume making and model‑airplane construction, for which pre‑registration is required. Mayor Filiz Gencan invited children, youth and families, stating, “Supporting our children’s interest in science, technology and production is an important responsibility for us.”
