Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Advances Long‑Term Regional Cooperation in Kyrgyzstan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan visited the Kyrgyz Republic on 31 July, taking part in an informal consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan. He highlighted the need for mutually beneficial partnership, effective dialogue in the international arena and joint project implementation, linking the initiative to Turkmenistan’s policy of permanent neutrality.

The president stressed that deeper political, economic and cultural cooperation will strengthen stability and security for the region and align with the long‑term goals of the global community. He noted that a similar summit of Central Asian leaders was successfully held in 2021 and announced that another meeting involving the same participants is planned for October in Turkmenistan.
