Turkmenistan leader meets German Committee on Eastern Europe director

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan met with Michael Harms, the Executive Director of the Committee on Eastern Europe of the German Economy. During the meeting, Harms emphasized the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Germany and Turkmenistan.

Harms conveyed greetings from German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz. The discussion also touched upon the international recognition of the Akhal-Teke horse, a symbol of Turkmen national heritage. The Chairman expressed gratitude for the hospitality and noted the ongoing effective cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany across various sectors.
