Turkmenistan President signs new industrial and youth policy decrees
The President of Turkmenistan has signed several decrees aimed at driving socio-economic growth and strengthening national frameworks. Key measures include the approval of the ‘National Strategy for Industrial Development of Turkmenistan for 2030–2045’.
To align with the United Nations General Assembly’s designation of 2028 as the ‘International Year of Law’, the President approved the ‘International Law and Turkmenistan’s Neutrality’ national concept. This initiative seeks to reinforce the country’s foreign policy based on international law and enhance the practical implementation of its permanent neutrality. Relevant ministries and law enforcement agencies have been tasked with its execution.
Additionally, a new state program regarding youth policy has been established, titled ‘State Program on Youth Policy in Turkmenistan until 2031’. The program aims to support youth involvement in science, education, and technology, while fostering a generation capable of contributing to the country’s socio-economic, political, and cultural development.
