Turkmenistan strengthens diplomatic ties with Germany, Turkey, and Kazakhstan
Turkmenistan has engaged in several high-level diplomatic activities to strengthen international cooperation. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors from Germany and Turkey. Petra Dahtleri, the new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, presented her credentials on August 24, followed by Şener Jebejini, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, on August 28. Both meetings included discussions on expanding cooperation in political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural sectors.
Additionally, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, held a telephone conversation with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on August 25. The leaders discussed bilateral cooperation and addressed various matters of mutual interest. During the call, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended congratulations to President Tokayev regarding the first elections to the Kurultai of Kazakhstan.
