Tuzla Retirement Home issued temporary ban on operations

The Tuzla Retirement Home has been issued a temporary ban on its social protection activities following an inspection by the Cantonal Inspection Affairs Administration of Tuzla Canton. The inspection concluded that the public institution does not meet the necessary legal requirements to perform social protection services.

The Ministry for Labour, Social Policy and Return of Tuzla Canton confirmed the facility is currently unable to fulfill the required conditions for operation. This development follows a major fire at the facility late last year, which resulted in the deaths of 17 residents.
