TV Globo confirms Juliano Cazarré for ‘Avenida Brasil 2’

TV Globo has confirmed that actor Juliano Cazarré will participate in the upcoming sequel, ‘Avenida Brasil 2’, scheduled for release on January 25, 2027. Cazarré is set to reprise his role as Adauto, a character from the original 2012 production.

Before finalizing the contract, the broadcaster consulted the existing cast to ensure there would be no backstage friction or objections following recent public controversies involving the actor. The cast reportedly offered no resistance to his participation. Despite past criticisms regarding a course he led on male empowerment, colleagues have noted his professional conduct and discretion on set. Cazarré remains a fixed contract actor with the network through 2029.
