TV Globo's 'Por Você' features intense hospital power struggles and revenge plots

The TV Globo telenovela ‘Por Você’ is experiencing significant plot developments involving power struggles at the Hospital & Maternidade Luz. The character Vanessa (Alinne Moraes) is attempting to protect her interests by proposing the sale of the hospital to Junqueira (Mauricio Mattar), owner of Rede Saúde Integral, after discovering that her mother, Pérola (Renata Sorrah), intends to appoint Bela (Sheron Menezzes) as the new president.

Vanessa’s motivations are rooted in a dark past involving the loss of a child and a long-standing rivalry with Bela. In a bid for revenge, Vanessa has reported Bela to the Child Protective Services regarding the care of Juli’s four children, leading to the children being placed in a shelter. Meanwhile, the character Juarez is struggling with the guilt of being responsible for the car accident that killed Juli.

On a production level, Globo has introduced a new format for the series by sharing behind-the-scenes footage and technical details, such as chroma key usage, to engage audiences on social media.
