TV Globo is reportedly planning a major move to recruit presenter Celso Portiolli from SBT, where he has worked since 1993. The broadcaster is considering a contract offer of approximately R$ 3 million per month to attract the host of ‘Domingo Legal’.

The potential negotiation may also include comedian Tiago Barnabé, known for his character Narcisa. Globo’s strategy aims to restructure its Sunday programming and reduce the audience reach of SBT during that time slot.

If the proposal is accepted, Portiolli could remain off-air for up to one year to allow for the development of new projects and a format refresh. Possible new projects include a game show for Sunday nights following ‘Fantástico’.
