TV Globo prepares second season of Avenida Brasil

TV Globo is preparing the second season of the telenovela ‘Avenida Brasil’, written by João Emanuel Carneiro. The production is scheduled to replace the current soap opera, ‘Quem Ama Cuida’, starting January 25, 2027.

Singer and actor Belo is confirmed for a special appearance in the series. He will film scenes involving a charity auction alongside the character Carminha, played by Adriana Esteves, in the fictional neighborhood of Divino. Belo’s role is temporary, as he is also slated to appear in the upcoming production ‘Elas Que Lutem’.

The cast for the new season includes several returning and new actors, such as Adriana Esteves, Cauã Reymond, Débora Falabella, and Murilo Benício. The project features artistic direction by Ricardo Waddington and general direction by Henrique Sauer.
