TVB announces new season of ‘Goddess Matching Project’

TVB has announced the upcoming premiere of the second season of its dating reality show, ‘Goddess Matching Project 2’, scheduled to air on Sunday, September 6, at 8:30 PM on Jade Channel. Hosted by Lin Sheng-bin, the new season introduces an upgraded competition format where five female contestants must compete against one another, while male participants are permitted to change their romantic targets at any time.

During a recent press conference, the female participants—including He Pei-jia, Yu Ke-cheng, Guo Pei-wen, Ruan Jia-min, and Chen Ruo-si—shared insights into their experiences. He Pei-jia described herself as conservative, noting her discomfort when a male participant unexpectedly held her hand during a birthday celebration. Conversely, Yu Ke-cheng was noted as being more proactive in approaching men during filming than in her daily life.

The production has also enhanced the show's visual elements and set designs. The iconic triangular dining table from the first season has been replaced with a pentagonal table featuring ten chairs to increase the tension of the matching segments. The season aims to provide more romantic settings and high-quality participants, as noted by host Lin Sheng-bin.
