TVB launches second season of Goddess Matching Plan dating show

The second season of the TVB dating reality show, ‘Goddess Matching Plan 2’, premiered on September 6. Hosted by Lin Shengbin (Bob), the new season features five female participants—Roxanne Ho, Mandy Yuen, Amber Chan, Kanis Yu, and Juliana Kwok—who are seeking romantic partners.

During the ‘First Impression’ segment, male contestants showcased diverse backgrounds and talents to impress the judges and the goddesses. Highlights included fitness coach Ares (Liu Hongwei) performing physical feats, a mixed-race air conditioning technician named Oscar (Fang Zhihong), and investment banker Oswald (Kwan Jinghan). Other contestants included a cellist, a quantitative trader, and a martial arts enthusiast.

The premiere also featured notable personal revelations, such as former Mr. Hong Kong winner Rocky (Zheng Jianle) discussing his views on relationships, and a 50-year-old contestant being called out for misrepresenting his age. The show aims to explore the romantic lives and perspectives of its female leads through various interactive challenges.
