TVS Motor reports surge in electric scooter sales

TVS Motor Company reported significant growth in its two-wheeler sales for July 2026, driven largely by increasing demand for electric vehicles. The company sold a total of 437,394 units in July, representing a 42 percent increase compared to July of the previous year.

The TVS iQube electric scooter saw a substantial year-on-year sales surge of 158 percent, with 59,386 units sold in July. The iQube is available in various battery configurations, including a 5.3kWh model that offers a range of up to 212 km on a single charge. The company also offers a ‘Battery-as-a-Service’ (BaaS) option, with entry-level pricing starting at ₹59,999.

In addition to the iQube, the TVS RR 310 also showed strong performance with a 350 percent increase in sales.
