Twilight of the Dead filming wraps for George A. Romero saga

Production has concluded on ‘Twilight of the Dead’, intended as the final chapter in George A. Romero’s zombie saga. The film is based on an original treatment written by Romero prior to his death in 2017.

Directed by Doron and Yoav Paz, the film features an ensemble cast including Kate Beckinsale and Betty Gabriel. The story is set on a decimated Earth where humanity is caught between warring factions and an evolving undead threat. Special effects are being handled by Greg Nicotero, known for his work on ‘The Walking Dead’ and previous Romero films.

Magenta Light Studios has acquired the North American distribution rights and plans a theatrical release across the United States and Canada. While an official release date has not been set, a late 2027 arrival is anticipated.
