Twilight of the Dead film production

Overview

Production has concluded on ‘Twilight of the Dead’, a film intended to be the final chapter in George A. Romero’s zombie saga. Based on an original treatment written by Romero before his death in 2017, the project was revived in 2021.

Directed by Doron and Yoav Paz, filming wrapped in Kentucky this September. The story is set on a decimated Earth where humanity is caught between warring factions and an evolving undead threat. Magenta Light Studios has acquired the North American distribution rights for a planned theatrical release in the United States and Canada. While one report anticipates a late 2027 arrival, no official release window has been set.
