Nikos Verlekis discusses role in new MEGA drama series ‘Two Black Shirts’

The new MEGA television drama series, ‘Two Black Shirts’ (Dyo Mavra Poukamsa), is set in Crete and is based on a book by Menios Sakellaropoulos. The plot centers on two childhood friends who enter into a major conflict over a woman, alongside various parallel storylines involving family tensions, romantic entanglements, and vendettas.

Actor Nikos Verlekis, who appears in the series, discussed his role as a father who initially seems easygoing but becomes violent when his children are threatened. He noted that the production follows a structured narrative from beginning to end due to its literary origins.

Upcoming episodes feature significant dramatic developments, including a character named Lefteris suffering a heart attack, a marriage proposal between Nikitas and Elpida being met with interference from Sofia, and blackmail involving a character named Rita in Athens.
