Two killed, one injured in shooting at León gas station

Gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at a gas station on the intersection of Boulevard Aristóteles and Boulevard Kiwano in the Las Joyas neighbourhood of León, Guanajuato, Mexico, on the afternoon of 11 July. The three men – César, 40, Luis, 19, and Christian, 28 – were refuelling a black Ford Expedition when the attackers approached, discharged firearms and fled. César and Luis were found dead at the scene, while Christian sustained serious gunshot injuries and was taken to hospital. Police, emergency services and forensic investigators responded, securing the area and beginning an investigation. The perpetrators have not been identified or captured.
