Two motorcyclists hospitalized after crash in Myszyńce, Poland

On Tuesday, 16 June, two motorcyclists collided on the curve of ul. Poległych in Myszyńce, Pomeranian region, Poland. A 41‑year‑old rider on a Honda lost control, struck a safety barrier and rebounded onto the roadway, where he hit the following 39‑year‑old rider on a Benelli who failed to keep a safe distance.

Both riders were taken by ambulance to a hospital for observation; medical examinations found no serious injuries. Police investigators determined the cause was a combination of excessive speed by the Honda rider and unsafe following distance by the Benelli rider. Both riders received fines – the Honda rider for not adapting speed to road conditions and the Benelli rider for not maintaining safe distance. Police spokesperson Tomasz Żerański said the incident resulted from “a series of errors made by both drivers.” Emergency services, including local firefighters and medical teams, responded promptly to the scene.
