Kbeto Zuleta musical group bus accident in Colombia leaves four dead
A severe traffic accident occurred in the early hours of Monday, October 26, when a bus carrying the musical group of vallenato singer Kbeto Zuleta fell from a bridge into the Ariguaní River. The incident took place on the road connecting El Difícil, Magdalena, with Bosconia, Cesar.
Local authorities, including the Mayor of Bosconia, Jorge Patiño, confirmed that the death toll rose to four members of the group. Identified victims include vocalist Geovanny Lobo and guitarist Harold Santana. The remaining two fatalities have not yet been fully identified.
Kbeto Zuleta, son of the legendary Poncho Zuleta, sustained critical injuries and underwent surgery for the amputation of a leg due to severe vascular and bone damage. He remains in intensive care. Approximately 17 to 21 people were reported injured in the crash, with several individuals in critical condition.
Preliminary investigations suggest the vehicle may have struck the bridge railings before falling into the river. Authorities are investigating whether the cause was driver fatigue or a mechanical failure.
