A reopened investigation into the 2011 death of former MİT officer Kaşif Kozinoğlu in Silivri Prison has led to several arrests and legal actions. Former Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor Ali İşgören and prison prosecutor Necip Doğan have been arrested on charges of membership in a criminal organization.

Other suspects, including former prison director Ömer Vatan, shift supervisor Kazım Bey, ambulance driver Süleyman Kaba, and former journalist Osman Arslan, have been detained. Additionally, Kozinoğlu's cellmates, retired military officers Hasan Atilla Uğur and Hasan Ataman Yıldırım, have been placed under house arrest on charges of intentional homicide.

The investigation is examining security footage that shows cell lights were turned off for approximately 14 minutes during the incident. Testimony from Hasan Atilla Uğur indicates that Kozinoğlu requested a sublingual pill while feeling unwell, though Uğur stated he could not recall the source of the medication or a blood pressure monitor used at the time. The probe also includes an analysis of 397 episodes of the television series 'Kurtlar Vadisi' to investigate potential organizational messages related to the case.
