Brazilian pastors indicted for raping teenage girls in Roraima

Two evangelical pastors, Wenderson Lima de Souza (32) and Arielly Kamila Moraes de Souza (24), were indicted by the Police Civil of Roraima for a series of sexual crimes against at least six adolescent girls aged 12 to 17 in Boa Vista. The investigation says the couple used their religious authority, manipulated victims with distorted Biblical interpretations, and showed explicit videos to coerce compliance. A third individual was also charged for facilitating evidence destruction. The pastors are fugitives; a court ordered preventive detention while the case proceeds before the judiciary and the public prosecutor's office.

Authorities have identified between six and eleven possible victims, with several refusing to give formal statements. The case is being handled by the Delegacia de Proteção à Criança e ao Adolescente and is under close scrutiny by child‑protection agencies.
