Two serious motorcycle accidents in Turkey leave one dead and another injured

In Beyşehir, Konya province, a 16‑year‑old rider on a plate‑less motorcycle attempted to evade police, collided with a police tow truck and was injured. The rider was hospitalized with a broken leg and fined 91,500 Turkish lira for multiple violations, including operating an unregistered vehicle and ignoring a police stop.

In Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ province, a 30‑year‑old rider of an electric motorcycle was killed when his bike collided with a car at an industrial‑area intersection. The car driver was treated for a panic reaction. Police opened an investigation into the crash.
