Two shop fires injure victims in Denpasar and Pekanbaru, Indonesia

A fire broke out in a family-owned warung in Denpasar, Bali, after the owner's son burned a pile of waste near a Pertamini fuel tank. The blaze ignited the tank and nearby cardboard, causing serious burns to two young men, Sultan Aldika and Muhammad Aril Firdaus, who were taken to hospital.

In Pekanbaru, Riau, three semi‑permanent kiosks on Jalan Yos Sudarso caught fire, injuring a vendor named Lena with a leg wound. Firefighters from the city’s DPKP quickly contained the blaze, preventing further damage to surrounding structures. Both incidents highlight the risks of open flames near fuel sources and the need for heightened fire safety awareness in small commercial settings.
