Matamoros murder García Cruz sisters Tamaulipas homicide suspected perpetrators double homicide

Dinorah García Cruz and Denisse García Cruz, both 21, were fatally attacked in the early hours of Sunday in the poblado Control, municipality of Matamoros, Tamaulipas. The victims were rushed to the Hospital General de Valle Hermoso, where they were pronounced dead.

Family members named four alleged perpetrators – Jessica N, Ricardo N, Homero N and Bety N – who they say come from San Benito, Texas. The family alleges the motive was jealousy after a partner allegedly sent messages to one of the sisters. As of now, the Tamaulipas State Prosecutor’s Office has not confirmed any arrests or provided further details on the investigation.

Local residents and relatives are demanding that the double homicide be thoroughly investigated and that those responsible be brought to justice.
