Two Turkish road crashes kill and injure multiple people

In the southeastern province of Adana, a vehicle stopped at a red light on the D‑750 highway was struck from behind near Pozantı. The driver of the striking car, 24‑year‑old Metehan Sargın, died at the scene, while the three occupants of the stationary car – Caner Ege, Kemal Ege and Emre Çakmakcı – were injured and taken to Pozantı State Hospital.

In central Turkey’s Sivas province, a separate collision occurred near the town of Akıncılar when an unknown‑driver car collided with a combine harvester on a local road. All three occupants of the car sustained injuries and were transported to hospitals for treatment. Local authorities launched investigations into both accidents and temporarily closed the affected road sections for safety checks.
