Two Vietnamese medical students' livestream scandal prompts apology call

Two female medical students at a Vietnamese medical school livestreamed vulgar language and threatened to "inject poison" during a clinical practicum, sparking public outrage. The incident raised concerns about professional conduct and patient safety.

Renowned physician Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Sang advised that the students should issue a public apology witnessed by school officials, suspend their social‑media activities, and undergo disciplinary action. He also called for stricter regulations prohibiting livestreaming or recording clinical work without explicit permission, stressing that wearing a medical blouse represents the entire profession.
