The storm has caused significant disruptions to transportation, with over 200 flights cancelled across several eastern and southeastern Chinese airports, including major impacts in Wenzhou and Ningbo. In Zhejiang, high-speed and regular railway lines were temporarily suspended for safety.

Meteorologists warn of heavy rainfall in Zhejiang and neighboring Fujian province, with accumulations potentially reaching between 250 and 300 mm. This weather event, combined with the remnants of Typhoon Narra, has increased the risk of flooding and landslides. Saudel is the third typhoon to hit Zhejiang this season, following Bavi and Dolphin, marking the highest frequency of typhoons hitting the province since 1949.
